By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/photographer-documents-the-beauty-of-new-york1.htmlPhil Penman shoots New York, capturing the unique spirit of the "Big Apple". This photo series consists of amazing black and white portraits of eccentric New York characters, as well as live street scenes.
Penman claims with his photo that in a city that never sleeps, it is never boring. The British photographer used to live in Los Angeles, but then moved to New York.
"I like to shoot on the street — that's how I find out everything. I know those who beg and then drive a good car," says Penman.
"Once a homeless man warned me about a bomb threat. As it turned out, only the police knew about it — and the homeless, because they know everything!" says the photographer.
