Petersburg goes in search of clean water

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/petersburg-goes-in-search-of-clean-water.htmlEveryone who is attentive to their health knows that drinking tap water is not allowed. Whatever filters you install, there will still be some nasty stuff in the glass. For someone to buy bottled water is quite expensive. Therefore, the folk path to the springs does not overgrow.
But the spring is different from the spring. In order for St. Petersburg residents to be sure of the purity of a particular source, the Community of St. Petersburg Bloggers and the Komsomolskaya Pravda media holding launched the project "Springs of the Leningrad Region", dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia.

"There are a huge number of sources in our region," says Pavel Prokofiev, head of the St. Petersburg Bloggers Community. — We decided to go around the most famous springs, take samples and determine how much water is suitable for drinking. And also share photos of those places, because many of them are insanely picturesque."
Anyone can take part in the project. To do this, you need to go to the website rodniki.kp.ru and mark on the map a natural spring known to you in the Leningrad region. Or contact the organizers directly via social networks. Among those who will help in the implementation of the project, a raffle of gifts will be held: a six-month supply of drinking water with home delivery and fuel cards for travelers.
Every weekend bloggers go to the facilities and take water samples. You can follow the trips on the websites kp.ru and rodniki.kp.ru , as well as in social networks using the hashtag #Rodnikilenoblast.
The analysis of samples is carried out by employees of specialized laboratories of the company "Khvalovsky waters". As a result, a map of the region will be created with information about the quality of water in local springs.
The project partners are Shell Concern, MegaFon PJSC, Khvalovsky Waters company, PetrogradWeb independent web studio, Rosgeologia, deli2go cafe at Shell gas station, Maxim automobile holding and AVTOPOL dealer complex.
