Residents of this high-rise in Minsk often cannot really explain on which floor their apartment is located. For example, if you press the button on the sixth floor in the elevator, you will arrive on the thirteenth, and from the street the windows of this floor will be located on the fourteenth. It is difficult to deal with this devilry, but it is possible, and the reason for such confusion is very original.

The corridor with many doors resembles a school one.

According to the architect's plan, all the apartments in this miracle house are three-storeyed, but in "recalculation" on the floors of the house occupy 1.5 floors. On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, on the second floor there is a kitchen and a living room, and on the very top there are two bedrooms.

Residents of the house say that such apartments have a number of advantages, but there are also disadvantages, of course. Such three-storey apartments resemble mansions in their design, privacy zones are perfectly maintained here, and, for example, inviting guests, you can not worry that they will inevitably visit your bedroom. Another obvious plus is that all the street dirt remains on the ground floor, and it is much easier to clean the rooms. The third and, apparently, the main advantage is that in such apartments it is spacious, there is no feeling that you are in a concrete box.

The bedrooms are located on the top floor, as in a private house.

Of course, there are also disadvantages. The main difficulty is that you constantly have to walk up the stairs. As soon as children or elderly people appear in the family, moving around the apartment becomes a real challenge. Another negative point is the fear of getting stuck in the elevator, because behind the doors of the cabin that stopped, most often just a concrete wall, not a floor span.

The project of the house belongs to an architect from St. Petersburg, but when construction began in Minsk, it was decided to reduce possible items of expenditure. Underground parking was excluded from the plan and the area of apartments was reduced. Today, the lack of a large parking lot is another serious problem for the residents of the house, the whole yard is filled with cars.

In total, there are 20 apartments on each floor of the house, ten for each wing. There is a lot of free space in the corridors and utility rooms, so bulky things do not have to be stored in the apartment. However, in recent years, the contingent of residents leaves much to be desired, so all basements and balconies are locked.
