North Korea put missiles on alert and aims at the US

Categories: Conflict

Increased activity is observed at North Korean facilities where medium and long-range missiles are based. Media reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on Friday night ordered the North Korean missile forces to be put on alert for a possible strike on the US mainland and US military bases in South Korea on Guam and the Hawaiian Islands.

Despite enormous international pressure, North Korea continues to rock its nuclear ambitions. So in December, Pyongyang launched a missile, and in February, nuclear tests were carried out. In response, international sanctions against the DPRK have been tightened, and even China, a longtime ally of Pyongyang, has introduced checks on cargo from North Korea. In response to these measures, the North Korean government has issued threats of war almost every day for the past month. Relations with South Korea are severed in every possible way, military units are ready to attack at any moment.

The Korean Central News Agency, North Korea's official media outlet, has released photos taken during military exercises, training soldiers and, of course, Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un testing and inspiring troops.
