No photoshop: an American woman painted a picture exclusively using HTML and CSS code

It took her two weeks to complete this difficult task. But at the same time, it's very funny to watch how her work "rides" in older versions of browsers. Internet Explorer, as always, is on top.

The American woman drew the picture manually using the developer tools in Google Chrome. She named the resulting female portrait "Francine" and posted its code in open access on GitHub (a web service for hosting IT projects and their joint development).
Diana Smith creates images using HTML and CSS code only, without using graphic editors and tablets. At the same time, in different browsers, the code from which "Francine" is made is displayed differently.
For example, this is how the picture looks in the old version of The Opera.
And so it is displayed in Chrome 9.
But the picture looks especially frightening in early versions of Internet Explorer.
On the website of Diana Smith, you can find several more works created by CSS code. We haven't checked their cross-browser compatibility yet.
