Nests for people

Every child, and any adult, wanted to be a bird once. Unfortunately, of course, we won’t be able to fly like them, but nevertheless it has already become a reality to feel in their place. This opportunity was given to us by the artist Jayson Fann, who builds nests designed for people.

1. Before you start dreaming about spending the night in a large nest, I want to warn you that this building cannot boast of maximum comfort and coziness.

2. This place is not protected from water and has no facilities, except for one or two mattresses.

3. In case it suddenly rains, you can only pitch a tent inside the nest itself.

4. But if you want to feel on your own skin all the "charms" of bird life, then this is the most unique chance.

5. The nest can accommodate up to 8 people. Although some of these designs, made by Jason to order, could accommodate up to 30 people.

10. When there are enough branches, Fann clears them of leaves.

11. Using a unique technique of a kind of "weaving", he gradually begins to assemble the structure. It uses countersunk screws to reinforce the structure.

13. In the town of Big Sur on the coast of central California, the artist has equipped the entire Treebones Resort, which rents out human nests.
