National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest — 2014

Categories: Photo project | Positive

The 26th Annual National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest 2014 is in full swing. Applications for participation in it will be accepted until June 30, 2014. The winner will receive as a reward an 8-day expedition for two to Alaska. We believe it will be difficult for them to choose a winner, since the works already presented by the participants are stunningly beautiful. We suggest you to look at a small selection of photos of applicants.

25. The author of the photo: "This dog appeared out of nowhere and followed us during our entire week-long hike in the Himalayas. He always slept in front of the tent, guarding us at night. One day I decided to get up at 4 in the morning to climb the 5-thousandth peak and meet the dawn there — the dog also kept me company. For half an hour he sat in this place and looked at the view from the top." Ladakh, India. (Photo: Sebastian Wahlhuetter / National Geographic Photo Contest)
