Moskambul and Rio-Londoneiro: amazing hybrid cities from designers from Krasnodar and Vilnius

Categories: Design and Architecture

Designers Margarita Zhitnik from Krasnodar and Duck Knees from Vilnius chose 14 popular major cities from all over the world, divided them into pairs and created one hybrid city from each, combining the features of both "parents".

"If you have seen the Disney cartoon "City of Heroes", then you know the city of San Fransokio-a hybrid of San Francisco and Tokyo. So, the view of the Golden Gate Bridge against the background of Japanese architecture inspired us to do the same remelting ourselves. From New York to Rome, from Rio de Janeiro to Cape Town, we have combined the unique architecture and attractions of each city to create a truly unique place, " says the project description.
