1. The original bunny photo was posted to @ryooneokrock1 on October 14th. In the image, a young man is holding a small domestic rabbit lying on his back. At the same time, there is a smartphone between the paws of the animal. As the tweeter noted, the rabbit is very "similar to Sumahoseku," a popular brand of electronic gadget accessories in Asia.
2. The post has received over 37,000 retweets and has been favorited about 42,000 times, and similar images of bunnies quickly circulated on the Japanese Twitter segment. Later, the meme was picked up on the Chinese equivalent of Twitter called Weibo and in the West, where pictures with rabbit cases were assigned the hashtag #bunnycase.
