Meet the muskrat Khokhulya - mascot of the Kaluga Ministry of Nature
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/meet-the-muskrat-khokhulya-mascot-of-the-kaluga-ministry-of-nature.htmlWe did not have time to finish rejoicing for the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Tula region, which received its own mascot of the Tula Gingerbread, as photos of a new unusual character appeared on the network. It is not easy to identify this creepy creature, but it is a Ukrainian muskrat who has become an ecological mascot of the Ministry of Nature of the Kaluga Region.
It turns out that the muskrat Khokhulya has been working as a mascot of the environmental protection department for three years, but it has become widely known only now. Photos of the frightening creature began to appear en masse on the Internet in a variety of situations – at exhibitions and forums, children's events and just on the street.
Khokhulya participates in the filming of videos for the YouTube channel of the Ministry of Nature of the Kaluga Region and promotes respect for the environment in every possible way. Probably, her appearance should clearly illustrate the problems that arise in the animal world during environmental disasters.
Outrageous Khokhulya recently wanted to be replaced by another mascot - moose Moose. The agency even published a photo of the new hero. Residents of Kaluga began to worry that they would no longer see the muskrat, but the Ministry reassured them – they decided to leave it in the ranks.
Not everyone knows that there is also a third mascot personifying pure water – his name is Kapa. Thus, Khokhulya is an eco-hero, Moose is the patron saint of the forest, and Kapa is a symbol of pure water. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, the other two heroes have not yet become media and their appearance remains a mystery to users.
