Without leaving the house, Indian photographer Vatsal Kataria creates an impressive illusory world that can not be distinguished from the real one.
It all started with the fact that one day a photographer from New Delhi saw a picture of a car against a waterfall on Instagram. The Indian was curious whether he would be able to do something like this without leaving his room. He already had experience shooting still lifes and dishes, but now Vatsal began to actively experiment with macro photography of mini-models of cars. Only a few months have passed since then, but during this time he has achieved significant success, learning how to create scenery from improvised materials that look just like scenes from real life.

Vatsal Kataria makes realistic advertising photos of cars, using their toy models for this.

Kataria creates all the entourage necessary for the final scene independently, imitating various landscapes and weather conditions with the help of improvised means.

"It all started as an experiment," says the photographer. — But then I gradually learned a lot in this genre. My main motive is to demonstrate to everyone that you can be great photographers — and it's not at all about expensive equipment or props."

According to him, sometimes he refuses to buy miniature models of cars: "Of course, I can just buy them, but I try to do everything with my own hands. It greatly improves skills."
