Wanda and Joe has been married for 63 years. They met on the street: Joe saw Wanda passing by, stopped the car and invited her on a date. They were engaged on December 28, 1950 and married exactly two years later. To capture their strong relationship, their granddaughter Shalyn Nelson made a photo shoot for them.

"I realized that I wanted to create something special and reflect what true love means to me. And these are my grandparents. Grandma was delighted with every moment. It was very nice to see how excited she was before putting on makeup and dressing up. I went to the Macy's store in search of a dress for grandma and ended up tucking in my coat to make sure that the size would fit her exactly," the photographer says about his project.

"This is from the heart. This is the most important thing I participated in and arranged." The photo shoot is part of a project called "With love, The Nelsons" (Love, The Nelsons), which the photographer dedicated to love for life. "I am ready to show lovers around the world that true love still exists. There are a lot of love stories that no one knows about and that are waiting in the wings to be told about them," says Shalin.
