Lion, tiger and bear - together for 15 years

We have already seen many examples of unusual friendships between animals - dogs and elephants, cats and foxes, giraffes and ostriches. However, nothing can compare with the harmony that reigns between a black bear, an African lion and a Bengal tiger living together.

Baloo the bear, Leo the lion and Sherkhan the tiger have been living together for 15 years at the Noah's Ark Animal Shelter in Georgia, USA. In 2001, an unusual trio was found in the basement of a house during a police raid. The animals were kept in terrible conditions, Baloo had to undergo an emergency operation, and this was the only time in their lives when the animals were separated. Since they were rescued, every day spent together has become a happy day for the three friends.

The animals suffered greatly due to the conditions in which they lived in the basement.

They could not be returned to the wild.

But, having watched the unusual trio, we can say that the bear, lion and tiger are quite happy.

Such a meeting would be impossible in the wild.

Despite the obvious differences, the animals love each other and act like they are brothers.

Friends began their lives in a cramped and dark basement, but now they live happily and amicably.
