Lion, bear and tiger - friends do not spill water

The friendship between Amur and Timur is not the only one of its kind. The American black bear Baloo, the lion Leo and the Bengal tiger Sherkhan live together in an animal shelter. They have a friendship that has lasted for 15 years.

The trio was discovered by police during a raid against drug dealers in one of the basements of a drug den in Atlanta in 2001. The poor animals were exhausted and emaciated.

But the story has turned in favor of the animals. The friends found their home at Noah's Ark Orphanage. The shelter staff did not separate the trinity and gave them a whole territory with a house and a stream.

Today, friends are inseparable. They play together, sleep and even lick each other. Their dreadful first months of life cemented their bond of friendship forever, despite their differences.
