Once diving to the bottom of the ocean to inspect the wreck, Andreas Franke, an Austrian professional underwater photographer and diver, decided to give Mighty Mo a second life.

The shooting technique was very complicated. Initially, Andreas Franke made life-size figures of sailors and their girlfriends. And took pictures in the studio.

Then he transferred the figures of people to the ship and after that photographed scenes from everyday ship life: as if Mighty Mo was not drowning.

The boatswain looks around thoughtfully: how strong is the wind today?

A little frivolous, but romantic.

These girls have boarded and are waiting for their boyfriends.

And these are sunbathing right on the deck.

Sailor's life is full of harsh conflicts.

A sailor simply has to be in good physical shape.

Well, what is sea life without romance?

Not everyone can work in the engine room.

Goodbye? A quarrel?
Still, a warship is primarily a grueling job.
