1. Lagerfeld is extremely selective about commercial actions in which Choupette participates. So, the fashion designer does not allow his pet to appear in advertisements for clothing and food. Lagerfeld considers such projects insufficiently prestigious.
2. However, the designer's cat behaves to match the owner — according to the designer, his baby "hates other animals and children."
3. "She is unique, just like a person. And the fact that Choupette can't speak only makes her better, the fashion designer is sure. — Choupette is my personal center of the world. There is something divine in the way she moves and plays."
4. Earlier it was reported that Lagerfeld's cat launched her own clothing line. In July 2014, a biography of the famous cat was published, which was written by French journalists Patrick Maurier and Jean-Christophe Napier. Choupette has her own Twitter and Instagram, which are subscribed to by tens of thousands of people.
5. The Burmese cat appeared at Lagerfeld at the end of 2012, when one of his friends, the model Baptiste Giabikoni, asked the fashion designer to look after his animal during the Christmas holidays. In a few days, the designer became so attached to the cat that he eventually asked a friend to leave the Choupette to him.
