The icing was so severe that it was impossible to recognize the brands of cars. All the cars from the deck looked like huge desserts, which the pastry chef generously poured icing sugar. Despite this, the cargo was promptly and without incident unloaded ashore.
The event attracted the attention of the press and bloggers. The journalists decided to sort out the situation with icy cars and turned to experts for clarification.
The sailors said that nothing extraordinary had happened. Such cases happen all the time because of strong excitement and negative temperatures. Sea water gets on the deck and the cargo placed on it and immediately freezes.
Cars covered with a crust from a few centimeters to half a meter are partially cleaned of ice before unloading. To do this, use hot water, chemical reagents and just crowbars. All this does not benefit the cars and greatly reduces the service life of the body.
