Without them, no one would remember anything. No one could turn the walls of their office into murals on a superhero theme. No one would be able to leave passive-aggressive messages on the doors of office refrigerators. And no one would have been able to arrange an epic battle of colored notes that took place in New York.
It all started innocently enough. One of the employees of Harrison and Star wrote a simple "Hi" ("Hi") using Post-it papers on the glass of an office building at 75 Varick Street in New York. And the answer was not long in coming.
Soon, the answer appeared on the windows of the building opposite: "Super"("Sup").
Since both buildings house many editorial offices and advertising agencies, the exchange of notes turned into a real battle.
The windows began to fill with funny pictures and messages.
Someone fashioned an icon of the Snapchat social network out of stickers.
Others acted more chaotically.
Even the Angry Birds were involved in the battle.
3M Corporation, the manufacturer of Post-it, also joined the battle, providing participants with free ammunition, that is, colored stickers.
As the battle became more and more creative, it began to seem that the participants were waiting for a draw.
Even Spider-Man couldn't stop it.
Having no other choice, the advertising agency Havas Worldwide put an end to the battle with an epic microphone throw.
The staff stayed late, ordering beer and pizza to create an impressive finale, and the guys from Spectacle Studio later made such a video.Unfortunately, the battle was stopped by the building managers, who demanded that the participants remove all stickers by the end of the week.
