As Jeremy and Rachel began planning their wedding, there were issues of choosing a venue, creating a menu and a guest list, not to mention the financial costs of the event. They thought and thought and decided to go to marry in Iceland.

A few weeks later, they were already traveling by car in Iceland: climbing glaciers, wandering under waterfalls, exploring swamps, playing with horses and relaxing in hot springs. They were looking for a place for the ceremony!

And then one day they discovered the ancient ruins of the church - the only building that survived a long-standing volcanic eruption. Waves of solidified lava surrounded the church. Jeremy and Rachel understood - this is it! They exchanged vows and rings... and set off on their journey!

With the money saved, the guys were able to pay for a trip for photographer Troy Mot, who captured their trip to Iceland.
