Some will tell you that food is an art form in itself, but photographer and Instagram user Brittany Wright (@wrightkitchen) has taken the form to the next level. Apparently, at heart, Brittany is a perfectionist and organizer who likes everything to be smooth and beautiful, in its place. She creates stunning photos by arranging food by color and size.

1. Wright creates "food gradients" - a tribute to the color and shape of various foods.
2. She is drawn to displaying and creating movement through color and physical change.
3. Many of her photos show how food changes during cooking.
4. Or how many different things can be found in a simple egg.
5. Sometimes it's all about color.
6. But her favorite shots are those that show “the process that products go through as they grow.”
7. Especially when it comes to food grown in her own garden in Seattle, Washington.
8. “I want everyone to see what their food looks like,” says Wright.
9. “I would like to create a new look for fruits and vegetables, to help shed a bright light on how cute they really are.”
10. “Making something out of nothing is my favorite style.”
11. Soon Wright is going to go on an "agricultural tour" around the country.
