The teenager was so impressed by the maniac Michael Myers that he decided to repeat his path. A young American shot and killed Jamie Evans' 48-year-old mother and Mallory's 15-year-old sister, and then turned himself in to the police.
In a creepy confession, Jake wrote that he was inspired by the opening scene of the film, where Mayer kills his family. He watched the horror movie over and over again until he brought its plot to life.
The guy stole a .22 caliber revolver from his grandfather and shot his mother and sister. He admitted that at first he wanted to stab his sister with a knife to cause her more pain, but then he changed his choice of weapons. He was fascinated by the idea of how the murder would take place.
Jake tried to do everything as quickly as possible. He also wanted to go to his grandparents' house to kill them and his older sister Emily. But then the teenager changed his mind and called 911. The guy said that he killed his mother and sister because people were "too rude to each other." He believed that his family was putting pressure on him.
The young killer said that he realized what a terrible crime he had committed. Jake said that this atrocity would torment him forever. He was immediately arrested and charged with capital murder.
After two psychologists determined that he was insane, Evans was placed in a mental hospital, where he remained until 2015. After that, there was another trial, at which he was given 45 years in prison.
Despite what Jake did, the rest of the family forgave him. Moreover, they continue to support him. After serving half of the sentence, the American will have a chance for parole.
Unfortunately, there are many blood and kindred murders committed in the world on the basis of a sick psyche. Dutch writer Richard Klinkhammer (Richard Klinkhamer) killed his wife and described in detail all the details of the crime in the book.
