In the subway without pants — 2018: a global flash mob swept the world

Passengers without pants again flooded the subway around the world: on January 7, the annual global flash mob was held in dozens of major cities for the 16th time in a row.

Pranksters in underwear rode the subway in Prague, London, Berlin and Munich, causing involuntary surprise from other passengers dressed for the weather. People took off their trousers, shorts and skirts to take part in the action in 60 cities in 25 countries.

The participants of the flash mob are under the watchful eye of New York police officers.

Many photos and videos from the flash mob from different cities show that the participants perceived the action as a holiday — many of them took pictures, sang and danced.

Israelis also joined the worldwide action, riding without pants in Jerusalem.

This New Yorker demonstrates the versatility of a flash mob for all ages.

For the first time such a flash mob was held in 2002 on the initiative of the art group from New York Improv Everywhere. And for many years now, the campaign has been bringing together thousands of people in various cities around the world.

At the same time, people diligently pretended that the absence of pants did not change anything in the life of the subway, although many could not help but smile.

The slogan of this campaign is "Chaos and joy".

The bigger the city, the more participants. This year in London, about three hundred people rode the subway without pants.

Despite the vicissitudes of the weather and frosts, the residents of the "Big Apple" were not afraid of low temperatures and appeared in front of other passengers and the camera in their underwear.
