In New Zealand, a seal entered the house and took the place of a cat

A baby seal entered the house of the New Zealand Ross family through the cat door. While the uninvited guest was exploring the house, Coco's cat was hiding with the neighbors. The pet received serious stress, and she needed the help of a special psychologist. Fortunately, this is the only negative moment in this funny story.

The house belonging to the Ross family is located just 150 meters from the surf line. Therefore, the little seal did not have to travel a long and dangerous way to get to people to visit. The hostess, Jane Ross, said that she got up early that day, at a little after five. The woman was planning to visit the gym and was in a hurry, so she was not interested in the strange barking that sounded very close. She decided that it was someone's dog that had accidentally got into the yard.

Jane got into the car and went about her business. She found the cute little seal only a couple of hours later, after returning from training. There were two children in the house on the second floor, but they were fast asleep and did not hear what was happening downstairs. The woman called the Department of Nature Protection and two hours later a competent employee arrived.

While waiting for a specialist, the seal wandered around the house, lay on the sofas and generally got real pleasure from the situation. An employee of the department easily "packed" the animal into a net, loaded it into a car and took it back to the ocean. Such is the story of a happy ending. But later it turned out that there were also victims in it. Coco the cat, seeing an unusual guest, ran away to the neighbors.

There she stayed until the owner took her away. Coco, barely getting into her home, rushed to the second floor. She categorically refused to go down into the corridors and rooms where there was a smell of an alien animal. With all her appearance, she portrayed discontent and disappointment. To help the pet cope with stress, Jane Ross took her to an appointment with a cat psychologist.

Ironically, Jane's husband Phil Ross is a marine biologist. He was away when it happened, and he's very sorry about it.

In other words, Phil believes that the case of the seal is the only time when his rare profession could be useful in everyday life. The scientist also added that there is nothing unnatural in the behavior of the young seal.
