In particular, whether they face a fashionable sentence for the form in which athletes will defile under national flags at the opening and closing ceremonies.
A discussion broke out on social networks about the appearance of the ceremonial uniform of the Russian national team after the athletes' meeting in the Kremlin. Some laugh and say that these suits look more like the livery of waiters, while others believe that our athletes have a normal uniform, nothing like that, and it is very festive and stylish. Nevertheless, let's compare it ourselves.

This is how the ceremonial Olympic uniform of Russian athletes from Bosco Sport looks like. And now let's compare it with the uniform of the national teams of other countries.
This year, the Cuban national team will be parading on louboutins and in amazing trousers in the truest sense of the word. The designer of this form is Christian Louboutin.
The uniform for the Canadian national team was invented by brothers Dan and Dean Katen from the famous DSquared2 brand, and it was made by the Hudson's Bay department store chain.
The duo of designers is famous for the perfect cut, which is noticeable by how wonderful their creations sit on the figures of athletes.
The British national team will be dressed in a uniform from designer Stella McCartney, made by the sports brand Adidas. Stella did not spare the national attributes in decorating the uniform.
By the way, the uniform turned out not only beautiful and stylish, but also more ergonomic: the fabric from which it is sewn is 10% lighter than the fabric of the athletes' uniforms at the 2012 Olympics in London.
The ubiquitous Swedish clothing retailer H&M got in here too: it dressed Olympians and Paralympians for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, using the colors of the national flag.
Leggings, T-shirts, hoodies and everything else are made in eco-friendly ways. Although they do not have "Sweden" written on them in large letters, it is safe to say that this is a very patriotic and beautiful uniform that athletes will wear with pride.
Designer Ralph Lauren has dressed the US Olympic team again, remaining true to his classic aesthetic. The uniform, made in the colors of the national flag, was presented in the TV program Today Show. Despite full compliance with the dress code of the International Olympic Committee, many critics called this version of the uniform insufficiently sporty.
The South Korean national team, like the American national team, in its form more resembles members of an elite country club. The form is sewn in such a way as to exclude the possibility of Zika virus infection from mosquitoes. By the way, the creators of the Russian Olympic uniform followed the example of the Koreans. Maybe it didn't seem so stylish to many, but now we are calm for our athletes: no Zika will pass!
The French national team will be wearing uniforms from Lacoste, a brand created by tennis player Rene Lacoste. The style of the French uniform was considered by some to be too strict and not young enough, but you still can't find fault with the cut and design.
The Australian national team will be dressed in a retro-style uniform with a reference to the 1924 Olympics. The design was made by the Sportscraft brand. By the way, the Australian national team will go down in the history of the Olympics this year due to the fact that athletes will be provided with condoms protecting against the Zika virus on the road.
