Hyperrealistic sculptures by Ron Mueck

Categories: Exhibition

London-based sculptor Ron Mueck, who has previously created models and puppets for children's television programs and films, has been sculpting hyperrealistic sculptures since 1996. Using rubber, fiberglass, silicone and many other materials, he creates figures of people, experimenting with scales to his heart's content. The details of these sculptures are mesmerizing up close because they can end up being much larger or smaller than expected.
