Categories: Life hacks
PictolicChafed feet are painful, unpleasant and, as a rule, unexpected. And all of us, one way or another, are familiar with this problem. Someone rubs new holiday shoes, and someone - almost all shoes, including casual… Is there a way to solve this problem somehow? Fortunately, yes, and even a few! Read more about what you need to do so that the shoes do not rub, read below.
The first and, perhaps, the most important advice is too obvious to talk about it in detail — choose shoes according to size. Do not believe the seller's promises that over time the shoes will stretch, diverge and become comfortable. It should be convenient right away!
But if it so happens that you have already bought a pair of shoes that rubs you, here are some tricks and tips on how to solve this problem.
If the shoes you bought turned out to be too small for you, this is not a reason to give it up. However, wearing it while experiencing pain and suffering is also not worth it! It's better to try to stretch this new thing a little.
To do this, you can use a special stretching cream (sold in shoe stores in the departments with care products). If you haven't found one, you can resort to folk methods: lubricate the inner surface of the shoe with alcohol and walk around the house for a while. Alternatively, fill two dense bags with water and insert them into the shoes, then briefly send it to the freezer.
It is worth noting that the method of stretching shoes is suitable only for models made of genuine leather. Shoes made of other materials from such manipulations can deteriorate.
It's no secret that calluses appear as a result of friction. Therefore, to prevent their formation, you can try to reduce friction.
There are several ways to do this. For example, you can apply a moisturizer on the skin and on the inner surface of the shoe (in the place where it rubs). It will protect the skin from aggressive external influences.
If calluses on the feet appear due to the fact that the skin sweats a lot, treat the feet with ordinary baby talc. You can replace it with a ball deodorant, which has a similar effect. Well, if none of the above tools were at hand, use ordinary soap.
On the shelves of stores you can find a lot of special tools that help to cope with annoying calluses. The most elementary of them is a Band—Aid. Pre-seal the problem areas with a plaster and only then go for a walk.
For the same purposes, silicone or gel pads can be used (sold in the same place as shoe care products). If the corn has already appeared, do not wait until it passes by itself — use a special patch or cream. Unnecessary suffering is unnecessary!
