How the largest cruise ship in the world works
The Allure of the Seas is the largest passenger ship ever built. Here are just a few of its amazing features:
– Length: 362 meters, width: 66 meters
– Height from the waterline: 65 meters, draft: 9.1 meters
– Cruising speed: 22 knots
– 16 passenger decks, 24 passenger elevators
– 2.706 cabins, 6.318 guests, 2.384 staff (from 80 countries)
Excursions are conducted on the liner, during which you can look "behind the scenes" of cruise life. This opportunity was seized by one of the passengers, who published an impressive photo report about his experience on the popular Imgur resource. We present you a selection of the most interesting photographs of those areas of the liner that are usually hidden from the eyes of guests. However, in their example, the literally industrial scale of everything necessary to ensure the life of such a “floating city” is very clearly visible.
