How it's done: Photographer sneers at silly instructions

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/how-its-done-photographer-sneers-at-silly-instructions.htmlHow To Project ("How it's done") It was born two years ago under the guidance of a photographer from New York, Olivia Locher, who based it on a number of her own failures in the kitchen. Unable to sort out the hastily dictated recipes from friends and acquaintances, she decided to fight confusion and frustration through creativity. Thus was born a series of pictures in which ordinary, everyday actions are performed incorrectly, incorrectly or grotesquely to such an extent that they lose their meaning.
These plots are unreal and absurd, but they point to something sincere and purely human, to the fact that we are all human beings and we tend to make mistakes, not to be able to or not to know something. According to Locher, this project helped her to take everyday life less seriously.
