According to the statistics of marriage agencies, every second interethnic marriage breaks up after five or six years of living together. As a rule, people just can't find a common language. But everything could have been different if women had carefully looked at their future husband on the first date. 

Is it worth waiting for calmness from the Italians, generosity from the French and romance from the Germans? Why do the Swedes prefer extreme dating, and the Chinese will never give a lady a coat?

The first date is usually scheduled in the morning or afternoon. A good opportunity, for example, to combine a lunch break with a romantic date. Of course, in France, the lady will pay for herself.

Traditionally, German men are distinguished by laconicity, practicality and sobriety of mind. The German is not inclined to make empty promises. If he offers to get married, it means that it is serious and for a long time. If he calls for a date, it's not out of politeness, but because he really wants it. He will not promise to call back if he is not in the mood to communicate. When he invites you on a date, he will clearly set the time and place of the meeting. However, this behavior does not mean that the Germans are far from romance. 

It's just that women in Germany have become too emancipated. This is evidenced by the results of a study by the Allensbach Institute for the Study of Public Opinion. Almost two-thirds of men in Germany admitted that their compatriots have achieved full equality. 28% believe that emancipation has gone too far. 7% of Germans directly stated that they simply cannot behave like men, because such behavior is considered unacceptable. 

It turns out that the women have achieved their goal. Now, on dates in Germany, they pay for themselves, they are quite normal if, after the first meeting, a man invites her home. Why waste time on empty formalities? But if a man calls to the cinema or theater, it means that he is very serious.

However, it does not do without romance at all. Germans can also prepare a small gift as a sign of attention. However, without the beautiful packaging. They usually spend neither time nor money on making a gift in Germany.

Swedes are experts on unusual dates. They don't really like restaurants and quiet walks in parks. But even if a woman fully shares the hobbies of a Swedish man, she should not count on an early marriage — at least for an official one. Divorce in Sweden is expensive, so couples prefer to live in a civil marriage. Moreover, their rights are exactly the same as those of registered spouses.

In the late 90s, Americans came up with a new kind of leisure, which was called speed dating. The essence of express dating is simple. There are the same number of girls and boys in a pre-determined place. Each couple communicates for five minutes, then changes partners until everyone gets to know each other. After each conversation, the participants write notes expressing their sympathies. If they are mutual, then the guy and the girl have already agreed to meet in another place. 

This way of dating clearly characterizes the attitude of Americans to love. They do not like long courtship, do not understand why waste time on romantic letters and beautiful promises. It is not customary to arrange surprises for your beloved girl and give flowers here. Do not wait for the fact that the man will definitely take the girl home after the cafe or invite her to his place. Of course, if he does not immediately offer to spend the night with him without any special obligations. American women are emancipated enough and do not respond to such a proposal with a slap in the face.

Perhaps the most mysterious for the female soul are Japanese men. In the East, in general, they try to behave very politely so as not to offend the interlocutor in any case. Women are no exception.

Temperament and passion are not about the Japanese. Especially in public. And it is difficult to understand whether he sincerely admires, for example, your taste in clothes or just pronounces the words of duty out of politeness. Besides, it is not customary for them to talk about their feelings. We were together for almost six months, but he never confessed his love. However, he showed his attention through actions - he gave expensive gifts, was very caring, always tried to feel my mood. I'm just going to ruin it, he's trying to cheer me up right away.

In addition, the Japanese are well-known workaholics. Mine worked 12 hours a day. So it's like this: he found time for a date - it means he has a serious interest in a woman. Especially if he meets after work and calls to see you next time. But I didn't dare to connect my life with a Japanese: I never learned to understand him.

Even if the Japanese did not like the date with the lady and he does not want to continue his relationship with her, he will still call her after the meeting, thank her long and hard for the evening spent, say compliments and many different pleasant words. And after a date, a Japanese man can call a woman who is not interested in him more than once. However, then he will still thankfully inform them that nothing will work out for them. Such seemingly illogical behavior is explained by simple politeness. In Japan, it is considered indecent to simply disappear and leave the lady alone with thoughts: "Why doesn't he call?"

The Chinese are very serious about choosing a life partner. This is one of the reasons why marriages in the country are very strong. The first date in China is very original. A young man comes to a meeting not alone, but together with a friend. It happens that not with one. Usually the date takes place in a cafe or restaurant. All evening, a friend tells the girl about the many advantages of a potential groom. By the way, according to tradition, a friend also pays the bill. After a date, a woman must be escorted home, even if the man did not like her. If a man wants to continue the relationship, he will definitely ask where she wants to go next time. 

By the way, Chinese men treat a woman with respect, but do not show many of the usual signs of attention. For example, it is not customary to give a woman a hand, help her put on a coat, open the door in front of her. Any touch to a strange woman is generally regarded as an insult. The roots of this behavior go back to the distant past. For a long time in China, it was believed that any touch to a woman obliges a man to connect his life with her. Nowadays, the usual emancipation has been added to the old tradition. Chinese women regard the usual signs of attention in our understanding as infringement of their rights.
