Hipster's Nest is a secret bar in Manhattan

To call The Night Heron bar underground does not turn the tongue, as it was located high above the ground - in a water tower on the roof of one of the buildings in the Chelsea district in Manhattan. Having worked illegally for only 6 weeks, this bar, carefully hidden by the creators, was a tremendous success among the sophisticated New York party-goers.

In full accordance with the proverb “in close quarters and not offended”, guests were offered an entertainment program of live music and drinks. It was possible to get inside only by invitation in the form of a wrist watch, passed from hand to hand by guests to their friends. The holders of such a ticket had to climb the steep stairs to the bar, which sometimes became an insurmountable obstacle for especially "overdone" guests.
