Many of us dream of a life full of adventures. But the lack of time, the question of money, responsibility or the good old fear of the unknown kill it all in the bud. Travis Burke is a living confirmation that the only thing that keeps you from fulfilling your dreams is yourself.

An American photographer travels the world in his mobile adventure house, which he built from an old grandmother's van. The guy earns money by photography, testing various gadgets, writing reviews and other freelance work.

As Travis himself writes on his website, he likes to inspire people to get out of their shell and out of the house, if only for the sake of exploring the neighborhood, be it even the backyard. "It is not necessary to plan your vacation carefully and in detail to see a beautiful and unique landscape."

No rent, a wide view, the ability to quickly get to any place and a very, very large yard for recreation.

For the past two years, Burke has been traveling around the USA in his van, as well as around the world in search of exciting adventures and equally beautiful views — though without a mobile home.

A few years ago, on his birthday, Travis got into his grandmother's former van and drove off. Without a full tank of gasoline and with $81 in his account, he began the biggest journey of his life.
