Svetlana Mikhotina has lost her peace since she learned that her husband is a dangerous criminal. But they had a perfect family, two children, a house in the village and a large farm. It seemed that this was the quiet happiness that many girls dream of. But one day, masked men destroyed the family's well-being in an instant.
It turned out that all these years Svetlana lived in ignorance. In fact, her husband is not Gabik, but Romas Zamolskis – a dangerous criminal, a murderer. The husband, wanted by Interpol, went on the run. On the fragile female shoulders fell problems that did not allow to fully realize the terrible truth. It was necessary to take care of the children, the household and the big house.
Romas Zamolskis was for Lithuania the personification of evil in the flesh. He first got into the police reports at the age of 16, when he robbed a Vilnius store. And this was almost the only crime he committed that did not end someone's life. Five years later, while celebrating the New Year, he killed a friend. The next victim was a prostitute.
Romas Zamolskis had a particular hatred for the police. For a law enforcement officer to be in the path of a criminal meant certain death. The killer remained ruthless even when trying to surrender. Lithuanian police officers gave him the nickname "mad butcher" and flatly refused to go on a call if Romas Zamolskis was operating there.
In the late 90s, the "mad butcher" specialized in robberies of collector cars. He left no witnesses, which made the investigation extremely difficult. As a rule, Romas Zamolskis left mountains of corpses at the crime scene. He did not hesitate to shoot collectors, security guards, and policemen.
Inhuman cruelty guaranteed him the first places in the ranking of the most dangerous criminals in Europe. Police officers from many countries were looking for Romas Zamolskis. It is noteworthy that the criminal had an idol – Adolf Hitler. He admired the dictator, tried to be like him in everything. Zamolskis liked to say that he considered himself as brilliant a villain as Hitler was.
The task force that developed the "mad butcher" established his place of residence. When the assault team broke into the apartment, Romas Zamolskis, following the example of Hollywood gangsters, shot back with two hands. Despite the fact that the apartment was on the third floor, he jumped out of the window and ran away. Phenomenally, but Romas remained absolutely unharmed, landing on the asphalt, did not receive a single fracture.
In Vilnius, Romas Zamolskis was a prominent figure in mafia circles. Working alone, he often crossed paths with different clans. Having gone on the run, he turned to the Ural mafiosi. New documents were needed. Sverdlovsk bandits made the" mad butcher " a passport of a Russian citizen. Romas Zamolskis disappeared, turning into Gabtelnur Boltachev.
Naturally, the mafiosi did not provide the service for free. The newly minted Gabtelnur had to work out a fake passport. For the next two years, the fugitive was engaged in the same trade in Russia as in Lithuania. Very quickly, the Sverdlovsk bandits regretted that they had contacted the scumbag and the bespredelschik. Gabtelnur confirmed the bloody nickname again and again. When the "mad butcher" took up the case, explosions thundered, blood flowed.
Investigators of the Yekaterinburg IC accuse Romas Zamolskis of illegal arms trafficking, three robberies, attempted murder, and misappropriation of other people's property. The most valuable loot is a BMWx5 and a vintage Swiss watch. "The butcher" committed crimes in the spirit of the 90s. During an unsuccessful attempt on the life of businessman Alexander Kasyanov, Romas threw a grenade into the apartment. The businessman and his wife then miraculously did not die, having received multiple injuries from grenade fragments.
The Sverdlovsk mafia, wanting to get rid of the" inconvenient " debtor, let him go home. The debt for the fake passport was simply written off. By that time, Romas-Gabtelnur had accumulated a substantial sum. He invested in the land, buying 20 hectares in the countryside. After retiring, he plunged into a peaceful life, built a strong house, grew a beard. The killer turned into a respectable farmer.
He saw Svetlana during one of his trips to the city. Like all the villagers, Romas periodically went to the city to buy something for the farm. The life of bobyl was depressing, so I began to look at pretty girls. The Ural girl fell into the Lithuanian soul. He could not resist and decided to get acquainted. According to Svetlana, he introduced himself as Gabik, spoke in good Russian with an accent. A month later, the girl quit her job, moved to live with her lover in the village.
The transformation of Romas into Gabtelnur was so complete that he never made a mistake when telling a fictional past. From his words, the girl knew that he was an orphanage. Young people did not officially formalize the relationship, it was not up to that. All the time was taken up by a large household. Potato and wheat fields were harvested by hand. The harvest was sold, and they lived from it. They kept two cows, three hundred geese, and a hundred chickens.
Four years later, Svetlana gave birth to her first child-a daughter. The little boy was born two years later. Gabtelnur doted on the children, devoting every spare moment to them. Neighbors and girlfriends were envious of Svetlana in a good way. What can I say, I was lucky with the man!
Meanwhile, the Russian police were looking for Gabtelnur Boltachev for robberies and attempted murder. The case stalled and the guards decided to send the criminal's data to Interpol. The local investigators were very surprised to recognize Gabtelnur Boltachev as a "rabid" killer.
At that moment, Romas Zamolskis made a fatal mistake. A caring husband and father decided to take the family to rest in the south. A farmer with his wife and children went by train on a fake passport. The police were on the trail and kept their eyes on the Lithuanian until they reached the farm. The criminal has changed a lot after meeting with the Ural beauty. Not a single gesture or glance pointed to the terrible past.
The neighbors were the first to notice the capture group and called Svetlana. Armed men were walking through their field. At first she thought they were hunters. Previously, there had been incidents when those in search of game went into private ownership. Svetlana on a bicycle went to the far field to the armed men. They replied that they were conducting exercises, and asked where her husband was now. The unsuspecting hostess waved her hand in the direction of the house.
At this time, the farmer with an old "Okoy" took out the garbage from the site. On a country road, he missed a SWAT car. While they were turning around, Romas pressed the gas pedal to the floor and was gone. The capture team found the " Oka "on the edge of the forest. The killer once again disappeared.
Romas hid in the forest for a long time. He couldn't stop thinking about his wife and children. One day, unable to resist, he called Svetlana. Knowing that the phone was tapped, he asked if the plot was for sale. She recognized his voice, but restrained herself. I didn't want to arouse suspicion. She already knew about all the misdeeds of her husband. I couldn't imagine how a loving father and a devoted, hard-working husband could turn out to be Europe's most wanted criminal.
Svetlana had to worry about the household. The crops were rotting in the field. The woman was physically unable to work for two people. There was no money to hire someone. In addition, just before the visit of the special forces, Svetlana took a loan from a bank. There was a debt, creditors came. The woman was desperate, tried her best to "match debit with credit", but nothing worked.
Romas called from different numbers from time to time. Trying to help his family, he got a job as a handyman at a construction site. He gave all the money he earned to his wife. The children missed their father very much. Occasionally, they managed to meet briefly. Over time, the police stopped visiting the farm. Oddly enough, the family decided that the danger was over. Romas even began to spend the night at home.
He was surrounded on the doorstep when he left the house in the morning. The Lithuanian hitman tried to escape and caught seven bullets. Anyone else in his place would have died from such injuries, but the "mad butcher" survived and went to jail. Not so long ago, Svetlana and Romas legalized their relationship by signing directly in the colony.
Now Svetlana is the official wife of Zamolsky. She endures the hardships of separation, adapts to support the children. I had to leave the farm and move to the city. There she got a job as a manicurist. Romas is not able to help the family financially. In the colony, he does not get a job, because he is not a citizen of Russia.
There will be no happy ending to this story. Now Svetlana and her children visit her husband every four months. Romas Zamolskis will never be reunited with his family. In Russia, he will stay in prison for 16 years for the Ural lawlessness. After that, the criminal will be extradited to Lithuania, where he will face a life sentence.
It is known from the past of Romas Zamolskis that he was treated in a psychiatric hospital. At the age of 16, he was discharged with the conclusion "safe for the public". According to the police chronicles, he committed his first crime shortly after his "recovery."
Russian specialists conducted a mandatory examination for the killer's sanity. Oddly enough, Romas Zamolskis was recognized as a mentally healthy person and appeared in court. Experts can't explain the drastic personality transformation that occurred with the "mad butcher".
According to them, there is an internal mechanism for turning on and off the pathological states of the psyche. Unofficially, it is believed that Romas Zamolskis really recovered, falling in love with a Ural girl. His brain switched to creating family well-being, taking care of loved ones. After all, even while on the run, he did not take up the old "craft", but got a job at a construction site to earn money for the family.
At the same time, there are questions for Lithuanian specialists. Why did the patient, who was deemed safe for the public, start robbing and killing? It is possible that if Romas Zamolskis had passed an in-depth examination in his youth, he would not have become the most wanted criminal in Europe.
