Keiko Fukuda became the first female judoka to be awarded a 10th dan red belt. She began to play sports at a time when women in Japan were only supposed to do tea ceremonies and calligraphy.

When Keiko turned 21, she was invited by judo founder Jigoro Kano to join the newly formed kodokan (special style) team. Fukuda taught other women judo and even opened her own dojo (a place for meditation and other spiritual practices).

Kuduka died on February 9, 2013 in San Francisco when she was 99 years old. Even a couple of weeks before her death, she was still engaged in coaching.

6. Skydiver Grandmother (93)

Pat Oakes is Britain's oldest skydiver. She set this record at the age of 93. Previously, it belonged to a 60-year-old skydiver who jumped from a height of 3,000 meters.

In addition to this, Pat had many other feats in her life. Thirteen years ago, together with her grandson, she descended on a rope from a great height. Eighty years ago, Josephine Belasco had to leave school to care for her sick sister and help in the family. The only thing she always regretted was her incomplete education. But in 2006, the 98-year-old grandmother finally received her high school diploma.

For thirty-six years she worked as an accountant, enjoying a long and happy marriage. She has a son and three grandchildren, but she still does not miss the opportunity to have a cocktail or two with her friends.

9. Grandmother is a thunderstorm of wolves (56)

Aishat Maksudova from the village of Novo Biryuzak (Dagestan) said that on that day she went to feed cattle and sheep when a wolf attacked a calf. He was saved, but the bloodthirsty predator rushed to the 56-year-old woman and bit her hand.
