On Reddit, they published spectacular pictures of Americans playing golf against the background of a flame, as if not noticing it. A user under the nickname Kolsefur saw these photos on a friend's Facebook page.

Some commentators suggested that one of the players was just lucky in the round, while others suggested that golfers were sorry for the rent of the course. The most popular response to this picture on Reddit sounds like this:

In fact, the fire is not as close to the players as it may seem from the photo. Golf Digest found out that the photos show the Beacon Rock golf course in North Bonneville, Washington, and the forest is burning near the Columbia River Gorge in Oregon. Beacon Rock club manager Mark Mayfield said that the field is not threatened by any fires.
