Few people will risk taking a dog or cat home from the street if they have diseases or injuries. This family from Oklahoma is a rare case of exceptional kindness. They pick up and take care of the most unfortunate animals, giving them life. By their own efforts, these people with big hearts have organized a shelter for our underprivileged younger brothers and have already rescued more than 300 dogs.
Read about the kindness that gives life and saves from the clutches of death in our material.Spouses with big hearts and their friends work 24 hours a day, rescuing dogs with various diseases, injuries and broken limbs. At the same time, they manage to combine volunteer activities with their main work.
32-year-old Heather Hernandez in 2017 founded a shelter for dogs and an organization for their rescue "Mutt Misfits" with the help of her friends and family. She decided to help animals that were at risk of euthanasia or death from diseases and injuries.A family from Oklahoma, together with a group of like-minded people and friends, is engaged in rescuing old and sick dogs that often do not receive proper care in shelters. The group is led by Heather.
The organization "Mutt Misfits" cooperates with the public and other shelters in Oklahoma and promotes the responsibility of owners for those they have tamed, sterilization and adoption of disabled animals.
All these dogs would have suffered a painful death if not for the volunteers of the organization "Mutt Misfits" with their sincere desire to help.
Medicines and veterinary services are expensive, so the shelter is constantly in need of donations.
About $ 1,300 is spent on the treatment and care of one sick dog, despite the large discounts that are made for the charity.
A big heart and unconditional love for homeless animals saved several hundred abandoned dogs. If there were more people like Heather, John and Mandy, our world would become much better and kinder. We hope that their organization will exist for many more years and will give many more dogs a chance to live.
