As you might suspect, fear of heights is one of the most common phobias (followed by public speaking). An estimated 3 to 5 percent of the population suffers from what is known as acrophobia. It is considered a type of anxiety disorder where a person experiences intense fear and anxiety when thinking about high altitude or being at a significant height. Acrophobia often manifests itself as an irrational fear and happens when a person is not particularly high.

So let us just tell you that this post is an informal test to see if your intuition can handle extreme ledges and intense highs. Think of climbers, adventurers, and thrill-seekers who live to feel like you're rising above the clouds. Maybe you are one of them?
