The FAN movie channel has published an absolute rating of the best anime series in history. A unique technique was used that allowed us to take into account the ratings of ordinary viewers, the opinions of critics of the world's leading publications that influence the whole industry, as well as the opinion of the FAN editorial board - the only one in Russia TV channel showing animated and feature films in the genre of fantasy and science fiction.

"The Steel Alchemist: Brotherhood" is the story of brothers Edward and Alphonse, who tried to resurrect their mother using the science of alchemy. So in addition to the dangerous adventures of young Tanjiro and Nezuko, who confront bloodthirsty demons, there are many informative illustrations of an entire era in this movie.

"Cowboy Bebop" is a kind of "Blade Runner" to jazz music. The plot takes place in a post-apocalyptic future. On a spaceship, bounty hunters dissect interplanetary space, who catch criminals for a reward from the authorities. The crew members are very different, but everyone keeps their secret, which sooner or later will become known to everyone. A unique style, irony, a detailed study of the universe, a soundtrack that adds melancholic charm to the action, charismatic characters - this series has something to praise. And one of the authors of the anime — Shinichiro Watanabe - continues to work with the aesthetics of the kiperbank. He is obviously close to the story that Philip K. Dick once came up with, so now he is working on the anime series Blade Runner: Black Lotus as a producer with Ridley Scott.

In the world of the cult TV series "Gurren-Lagann", humanity is hiding in underground bunkers. But some brave souls manage to get to the surface. However, it's not safe there: dangerous beastmen are everywhere, soldiers of the ruthless tyrant Lordgenom, who keeps people in fear. The heroes will fight the Lordgenome regime, and this will be the most difficult test for them. The story itself is a hymn to perseverance and an illustration of how a person with an iron will can change not only his life, but also the world around him. The example of characters who stubbornly went to their goal, sticking together, inspires viewers around the world.

"Vanpanchman" is a parody of all superhero movies at once. The series has become a phenomenon thanks to its original idea. The main character is a former Saitama clerk. Despite his not very attractive appearance, this guy has super strength — he deals with the enemy with one blow. But here's the trouble: no villain can give him a decent rebuff. So Saitama is "suffering". In addition, most of his colleagues in the superhero workshop do not consider him a mighty warrior, and the authorities do not thank him, but criticize: city buildings are in ruins after the showdown! But over time, of course, the attitude will change.

"Van Pease" is 900 episodes about the adventures of pirates led by Captain Monkey D. Luffy, whose superpower is to stretch and shrink like rubber. The series is based on manga, which has been published since 1997. Not only an anime series was shot based on it, but also 14 full-length anime, and about 30 video games were created. Netflix got to the manga: now the service is developing a series.

The series "Legend of the Heroes of the Galaxy" tells about the war between the Union of Free Planets and the Galactic Empire. But unlike "Star Wars", another cult space opera, the characters here are not divided into "bad" and "good": good and evil do not oppose each other. The authors mostly show events impartially, without taking sides. At the same time, the idea that war is a terrible evil is read immediately.

"Code Gias: The Rebel Lelouch R2" is a continuation of the story about how the British Empire captured a third of the world, including Japan, but there were brave men who defied the usurpers. Among them, the main character is a schoolboy Lelouch, the son of the Emperor, who lost his right to the throne. But the uprising failed, and now, in the second season, a young man who has lost his memory needs to start life anew. Of course, he will join the resistance one day. The audience also liked watching the hero in the first season: the project then became very popular, but the second season confidently held the bar.
