By Vika https://pictolic.com/article/exploring-the-world-through-my-sketchbook-12-drawings.htmlI'm Aliz Buzas, a graphic designer and illustrator from Budapest, Hungary.
Every time I have a trip, I bring my sketchbook too because drawing with my markers is one of the greatest relaxations for me. I really like to paint or draw on paper with actual tools, even if I have to work digitally most of the time because the texture of the paper and the way different materials react with each other adds a new, interesting perspective to the result.

I have a sketchbook with me every minute. Whenever I have a little free time, I just sit down and take it out. Whether it's a weekday or a vacation, it's the best way for me to unwind, a form of relaxation.

Typically, I create these drawings by having the subject positioned directly in front of me. This way, I can closely observe it as I work on my drawing, aiming to capture the essence of the moment.

These drawings are made with Posca markers. I love the colors of Posca markers. Practically, any color looks good with any other. I usually choose 4-5 colors that match the mood of the subject and play around with them.
