Epic fall: in St. Petersburg, a couple fell from a third-floor balcony during an argument

Shocking footage from St. Petersburg, in which a couple during an argument falls from a third-floor balcony on the sidewalk, struck users of social networks. A passerby managed to capture the incident on camera. A man and a woman flew down, along with part of the fence, which could not stand when they fell on it. 35-year-old Olga Volkova and Yevgeny Karlyagin were hospitalized with numerous bruises and fractures of their limbs, but fortunately their lives are now in no danger. The quarrel between them broke out on the balcony of their apartment last Saturday at 10 o'clock in the morning.

The footage shows how part of the fence falls when a man and a woman fall on it, and they fall down from an 8-meter height.

A witness named Denis, who captured the fall on his phone, said that he was walking with a colleague and filmed a view of the historic street. He saw the couple arguing on the balcony and turned the camera on them. Suddenly, people broke down and fell to the sidewalk. Passers-by immediately called an ambulance.

Eugene was fully dressed, and Olga was in a dressing gown. They have a young son. 

The Prosecutor's Office of St. Petersburg checks whether the balcony required repairs. If necessary, a follow-up investigation will be conducted.

Fortunately, not all falls from a great height are fatal. In the UK, a 6-year-old girl fell into a 30-meter waterfall and miraculously survived.
