3. We worry about what we will talk about

Of course, it happens that on the first date, the conversation develops with enviable ease, without awkward pauses and confusion. Most people are desperate to find a fine line between what is appropriate to share and what is best avoided.

Yes, we all know that discussing exes, as well as sharing stories of drunken adventures, on the first date is not worth it. But is it appropriate to admit that we are crazy about the new One Direction album or that we have 8 cats living at home? Is it worth talking about your work without the risk of appearing chatty and intrusive? And would it be rude to ask who you are by the sign of the zodiac?..

4. We make up an excuse to escape

"I just got a call from my grandmother, her cat is lost, and we need to find it", "My friend just got dumped by her husband, and she needs my help", " This is my boss! I urgently need to go back to the office! " - if we say something like this and in a panic we break away from the place, leaving you in proud solitude, feel free to delete our number from the contact list: there will be no continuation.

5. We smile

We always smile. When we look for the nearest exit from the building, when we choose dessert, when we think about what an abnormal type this friend is opposite, and when we are completely delighted with this friend — we also smile. This also applies to the previous paragraph. Conclusion: if we smile, it doesn't mean anything.

6. We try to appear smarter

No, we can, of course, not try, but make a knight's move, wearing a stunning cleavage. But we really want to look not only beautiful in your eyes, but also smart — so we try to use smart words in our speech at ease, learn a couple of phrases that relate to the topic of your dissertation (hello Penny from "The Big Bang Theory").

And at the very moment when the light of admiration lights up in your eyes, we will certainly give out something about the neighborhood of Turkey and Madagascar — and watch how you change in your face… In general, probably, the cleavage is not the worst option.

7. We are late

Honestly, we don't do this on purpose to put a price on ourselves or make you nervous. Believe me, you would forgive us if you knew how much time we spent in front of the mirror, choosing the right outfit for the first date (see point 2).

The habit of being late, if there is one, is almost ineradicable. And if our first date turns into something serious, don't even try to fight it.

8. We wear something very uncomfortable

15-centimeter heels, from which we risk falling off and breaking a leg, an impossibly tight bra designed to make the bust bulky — we often make such sacrifices to impress you (again, see point 2).

And it doesn't matter that during the whole date you watch our face contorted with pain — we sincerely believe that this gives us mystery and charm.
