And after the death of her dog Lily, a talented American decided to create a project from these photos called "Dog Years: True Friends Then and Now."
Dog Years is a very touching and even philosophical project by American photographer Amanda Jones.
The purpose of this project is to show how animals age. We hardly notice that our pets change with age, so Amanda decided to stop these moments in time.
Amanda was inspired to create the project by her own dog Lily (pictured above). Amanda has been photographing her pet all her life, and when Lily "went to the rainbow", the photographer decided to make a collage (a photo when Lily was still a puppy, and a photo of her age). The response to this was incredible, and Amanda began talking to previous clients whose dogs she photographed as puppies. And so the project “Dog Years” turned out. Such memorable photos evoke strong emotions.
A total of 30 dogs took part in the photo project. And their stories formed the basis of the photographer's book "Dog Years" ("Dog Years").
