Drama, darkness and magic in the digital works of Martina Fachkova

Slovak illustrator Martina Fačková is the author of beautiful fantasy works that many people have on their desktops as wallpaper. She is a freelancer who has been working with various publications, advertising agencies and game developers since 2014. Martina's paintings are always devoted to magic, and most often it is dark. That is why she is happy to work on projects related to the dark universe of The Witcher.

Martin Fachkov defines the style of his illustrations as "fantastic imaginative realism with a touch of drama, darkness and emotions." She says that she likes to give life to characters that do not exist in the real world — the artist feels like a creator who breathed life into a fantastic creature, and also gave him his own interesting story.

Among Martina's regular clients are such companies as Wizards of the Coast, White Wizard games, Harper Collins, Cerberus Studios and Eipix Entertainment. Her works have been repeatedly awarded high awards at digital art exhibitions in Europe, the USA and Asia.
