In 2012, US Army soldier Justin Landsford lost his leg in a bomb blast in Afghanistan. When he returned to the US, he was introduced to Gabe, a two-year-old golden retriever who began helping Justin fight PTSD.

They met through the Warrior Canine Connection and quickly became friends. Justin got married to his high school girlfriend Carol last weekend. When it came to choosing a best man, Landsford chose his best friend Gabe without hesitation. Gabe did a great job!
