Several of her patients have already died as a result of refusal of medical care and their relatives are preparing to file an application with law enforcement agencies.
Blogger and healer Katya Thi is a very famous person — she has more than 360 thousand Instagram followers who do not doubt her competence. If you believe Katya's words, then she has 4 higher educations and is a nutritionist and naturopath by profession. Thi also likes to tell that he is about to get a doctorate in the UK, where he currently lives and works.
Of course, no one has ever seen any diplomas or certificates of a "healer". There is also no exact information about the identity of this person, and even her real name is not known to anyone. But we can absolutely say that Katya has dozens, if not hundreds of human lives on her conscience, which she ruined because of her unscrupulousness and greed.
Naturopath Thi is engaged in consulting people on health issues for a fee and at the same time has an enviable versatility. The blogger gives advice, diagnoses, cancels doctors' appointments and does not hesitate to prescribe medicines and folk remedies herself. Katya confidently urges to abandon official medicine and be treated according to her methods.
Thi takes on oncological diseases at any stage, dissuading people from surgery and chemotherapy. One of the women, whose daughter died after listening to the advice of a pseudo-specialist, says that the treatment consisted in a special diet. Limiting herself in nutrition, the 28-year-old woman tried to achieve tumor reduction and recovery.
Raw eggs, sea fish and sprouted wheat and water — that's all that the instagram doctor allows patients, and everything except water, in meager doses. As a result of rejection of traditional medicine and improper nutrition, a young woman died. The examination showed that death occurred as a result of general exhaustion of the body caused by illness and malnutrition.
The mother of the deceased claims that Thi gave advice without thinking about the terrible consequences to which they can lead. "We were grasping at straws, we wanted to live," is how the woman tells about the motives that prompted her daughter to stop the usual treatment in such cases.
This is exactly what Katya Thi says about her treatment methods in one of the videos on her social network page. Of course, consultations of a nutritionist and a naturopath are not free. For one communication with a patient, an online blogger charges from 20 to 100 euros. The woman also distributes promo codes for questionable dietary supplements and conducts paid webinars. Many people note Thi's ability to manipulate people, instilling their ideas into them and shamelessly intimidating those who are already driven to despair by the disease.
If the patient dies after treatment, Katya Thi begins to claim that her recommendations were not followed correctly, shifting all the blame to the deceased and his entourage. At the moment, a group of relatives and friends of people killed by such treatment writes a collective statement to the blogger in the TFR, accusing her of charlatanism and causing harm to health that led to death.
