Cuban transsexuals — before and after sex change
Categories: Photo project
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/cuban-transsexuals-before-and-after-sex-change1.htmlDeep photo project "Redistribution" by Chilean photographer Claudia Gonzalez — portraits of representatives of the transsexual community of Cuba. In paired photos, you will see the same person before and after sex reassignment surgeries. For ease of perception, they are depicted on the same background. Although the changes look radical, the photographer is trying to show that in fact these people have not changed much, at least inside. Physically, they fit perfectly into their own perception of themselves and who they have always wanted to be, in a world that does not always recognize their identity.
