It's hard to believe that these beautiful transparent balls covered with rainbow patterns are actually made of ice. Photographer Angela Kelly shoots soap bubbles in the first seconds after they are shackled by frost.
To shoot soap bubbles, the girl used soap solutions of her own preparation.
After the soap bubble freezes, a neat ice sculpture is obtained, of a regular rounded shape, covered with light frost and intricate patterns.
Kelly photographed bubbles in the open air, in her garden, in Washington State, where severe frosts and snowstorms have recently hit.
Each time a soap bubble in the cold formed unique patterns and shapes that greatly impressed both Kelly herself and her little son.
