City in Costa Rica filled with 8 million flower petals

Categories: World

It rained eight million flower petals on a town in Costa Rica. This amazing phenomenon is part of a marketing campaign by Sony, advertising agency McCann and photographer Nick Meek.

Filling the village with so many petals is not an easy task. The team collected colorful leaves and petals for two weeks, which eventually weighed three and a half tons. The team also set off explosions and a tsunami of petals that covered the entire town.

Why exactly 8 million? That's how many pixels are on a 4K TV screen.
