32-year-old self-taught photographer Ivan Sapkov lives in Moscow, shoots urban landscapes and is a participant of the Moscow Street Photography Festival. In this photo project, he collected footage from Yandex.Panoramas", which depict children.

""Scrolling through" thousands of kilometers (in "Yandex.Panoramas". — Editor's note), I want to show my contemporary childhood in small and large cities outside Moscow. Show leisure, toys and, of course, typical Russian urban landscapes, surrounded by which these children grow up.

The summer streets, as before, belong to them."

"One day I was photographing an empty swing on a playground in the courtyard of a residential area and a young mom, who did not even get into the frame, asked me why I was doing this. For a long time she could not believe that "for herself" and "it's beautiful."

"And I followed her with a suspicious look. The usual story. A man who purposefully and without asking takes pictures of other people's children will look even more suspicious. Although we know dozens of iconic photos where the main characters are children on the streets."

"Even if I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to make a project about children in Russia right now. There is no money, no time. And why, if the car is "Yandex.Panoramas" much faster than me? You can't deny her "observation" either. In addition, she is devoid of gender, which means that she has no suspicions. A car with a barbell on the roof causes maximum curiosity among others (as if it happened at the dawn of photography), but most often it just goes unnoticed."
