Chaikobul, simianolev and sovorys: the artist makes crazy animal hybrids

Categories: Animals | Social Networks

Digital artist Arne Olav Gurvin Fredriksen creates incredible and sometimes very funny animal hybrids using Photoshop. In 2012, he created all sorts of photo manipulation as a hobby, but soon it turned out to be a whole project: Fredriksen began to regularly post photos of his hybrids on Instagram and gathered about 60 thousand subscribers.

A sea lion with the body of a horse or a labrador puppy with the head of an albatross - these and many other crazy combinations the artist creates by carefully selecting two harmonious shots. "There should be a certain angle, and it would be nice if the textures of leather or fur were similar."

After Fredriksen attaches the head of one animal to the body of another, he uses Photoshop tools to achieve the perfect image, as if this fabulous creature was photographed in its habitat.
