By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/burning-man-2019-metamorphoses-in-a-hot-desert.htmlOn August 25, the Black Rock Desert in Nevada, USA, as usual, hosts the world's craziest annual event - the Burning Man self—expression Festival. Incredible scenery, crazy costumes, enchanting shows and other details characteristic of this festival are subordinated to the theme of metamorphoses this year.
The eight-day event, which is considered without exaggeration the brightest on the planet, gathers artists, sculptors, designers and simply extraordinary people from all over the world. They bring fantastic costumes, art objects, mechanisms and vehicles to the desert, which can only be seen here.
On September 2, the closing day of the festival, most of the creations will die in the fire, along with the main symbol of the holiday — a giant human figure. But the memories of the days spent in a fantastic city that does not exist on any map will remain in the hearts of guests until next year.
From many other art festivals taking place in different parts of the world, Burning Man differs not only in its incredible scale, but also in its special rules. On the territory where the festival takes place, the circulation of any money is prohibited and participants can only exchange with each other or give.
Any brands and advertising tricks are also denied — all logos and brand names are closed or altered beyond recognition. The absence of commerce in any of its manifestations gives the holiday a special charm — participants take a break from civilization and can be themselves once a year, without conventions and social division.
The festival is adored by world stars and Burning Man can be considered one of the few places where you can come face to face with them right in a motley entertaining crowd. Let's see what the Black Rock Desert holiday has prepared for its guests this year.
